A Note on LWF's Compliance Fee
List With Freedom charges a small compliance fee at closing to cover the costs of maintaining compliance with state real estate laws and MLS rules across all 47 states and DC where it operates. This fee is disclosed on the pricing page and in the listing agreement before you sign. It is not a listing commission. Platinum and Platinum+ plans pay 0.25% at closing, and the Gold plan pays 0.5% at closing. On a $400,000 sale, the Platinum compliance fee is $1,000 — versus $10,000 to $12,000 with a traditional listing agent. The compliance fee applies only when your home sells.
